Harold Dunsavage began his career with the SCESC in 1980 as a Teacher of Physical Education and Health. He worked his way up through the ranks and became Principal of the Somerset Academy, followed by Director of Programming, in which he served approximately 10 years. In 2008, Mr. Dunsavage was appointed the Superintendent of our school district.

He considers his major accomplishment to be the vision and implementation of the Career Center of the SCESC. Other accomplishments include unique special education programs for grades K-12 to assist students to have the best opportunity for the future.

In addition, Mr. Dunsavage believes our transportation program is one of the best in the State, providing the highest quality customer service possible.
