Transporting students to out-of-district schools and programs can quickly deplete special education funding. The SCESC works cooperatively with districts to plan, bid, coordinate, and contract daily transportation for special needs students.

During the course of an average day, the SCESC manages over 350 routes from 40 districts to 188 destinations.

Toni Hacker has been our Special Education Transportation Coordinator since July 2016 and has completed the School Transportation Supervisor Certification Program to ensure the SCESC follows all guidelines to transport students to/from school safely.
